Terms of Use

These terms apply when you or your company use CardyLink at cardylink.com. By creating an account or using a card, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

Who can use CardyLink

CardyLink is for companies. The person who signs a company up confirms that they may agree to these terms for it. The company’s owner and admins are responsible for the people they add and for what is done in the company’s account.

Your account

Keep your password to yourself and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account. We may ask you to confirm your email before you sign in.

Free and Pro

• The Free plan costs nothing and has no limit on the number of people.
• Pro adds features listed on your account page. It is paid for, or included for a year with an order of printed cards.
• When Pro ends, the Pro features stop. Your cards, their links, QR codes and printed cards keep working on the Free plan.
• We may change what each plan includes. We will tell company owners before a change that takes something away.

Your content

What your company puts on CardyLink stays yours. You let us store it, show it on your cards and process it as needed to run the service. You confirm that you have the right to share the details of the people and contacts you add, and that you will use them lawfully, including under the data protection laws of the United Arab Emirates.

Fair use

Do not use CardyLink to:

• break the law, or pretend to be a person or company you are not;
• send spam or unwanted messages to the contacts you collect;
• upload harmful code, or try to get into accounts or data that are not yours;
• copy the service or collect data from it automatically;
• overload the service, including the card scanning, beyond normal business use.

Printed cards

Printed cards are ordered through our shop and confirmed with you before printing. Each printed card opens a fixed CardyLink link, which your company can point to another person’s card when someone leaves.

The service

We work to keep CardyLink running and your information safe, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted. We may improve, change or stop parts of the service, and will give notice of changes that matter to you.

Suspension and closing

We may pause an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk, and will tell the owner why. A company can ask us to close its account at any time; we then delete its information as our Privacy Policy describes.

Liability

CardyLink is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost business or profit, and our total liability is limited to what your company paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Dubai decide any dispute.
